Identify the exact machine and cartridge before ordering a filter. Enagic Malaysia’s FC1 listing describes FC1 as the replacement for F8 / HG-N cartridges in specified LeveLuk models. Confirm compatibility for your model, production year and market with the supplier.
Which filter should you buy?
- Photograph the machine model label and the installed cartridge label.
- Record the cartridge code, when it was fitted and the machine’s filter indication.
- Ask the supplier to confirm the current replacement cartridge for that exact machine.
- Ask whether adapters or other components are required, and retain the receipt.
Do not buy solely because a photograph looks similar or a seller says “fits Kangen”. Regional versions and cartridge generations can differ.
How much does a replacement cost?
The Enagic Malaysia shop listing checked for this guide shows an FC1 reference price of RM500 for one filter, and RM400 per filter when purchasing two or more. Availability, delivery and the applicable order price must be checked with the supplier. This guide does not take filter orders.
When should it be changed?
The FC1 listing gives an approximate 6,000-litre capacity and describes a six-to-twelve-month period depending on local water conditions. These are product-specific reference figures, not a universal interval. Follow the manual, filter indicator and supplier advice for your actual setup; do not wait for a taste change as the only signal.
Filter replacement and deep cleaning do different jobs.
